Every weekday

Adult Day Training

The core day program, Monday to Friday: academics at nine, art at ten, lunch at noon, music at half past twelve.

Chapter 01

The core day program, built on the arts

Adult Day Training is the heart of ProjectFREE. Kim Costanzo founded the program in Connecticut in 2009 as a full ADT program built heavily around the arts and performance. From 2009 to 2013 it even made a public access TV show, New England's got Special Talent, out of Waterford, CT, featuring musicians with diverse abilities from all over the state.

Today the program runs from 2026 51st Street South in Gulfport, Florida. The people in it are artists, musicians, actors and students first. The day is made of academics, art and music with lunch in the middle, and the other ProjectFREE programs, from Free2Rock Academy to RisingSTARZ Theater Group, are part of the same community.

Monday to Friday, the same running order

The weekly schedule is posted, and it does not change from one weekday to the next. Monday to Friday, every day runs in this order: 9:00 Academics. 10:00 Art. 12:00 Lunch. 12:30 Music.

Having the same order each day means a member always knows what comes next. Outings, fitness and rehearsals for shows fit around it, and the art hour sits alongside the Gallery and Studios, where the work ranges from ceramics to painting.

The running order is a guide to the program day, not a visiting schedule. If you would like to come and see it, call (727) 603-0595 first and ask to book a visit.

Chapter 03

Educate. Empower. Inspire.

Those three words are ProjectFREE's own motto, and they sit over a mission of inclusive programs in academics, creativity and enterprise: theater, music, fine arts, micro business ventures and community initiatives. The goal is self-expression, skill development and meaningful connection, with every voice seen, heard and valued.

To apply for a place, call (727) 603-0595. There is an online application, and the team can point you to it and answer questions as you go. ProjectFREE does not publish fees. Its Life Skills programs sit within Florida APD services, so call to talk about funding before anything else.

Founded in 2009 by Kim Costanzo, ProjectFREE is a registered not-for-profit, with a 5.0 Google rating from 13 reviews.
