On the road
Transportation
Rides to and from programs and to the events where members perform and sell their work.
Chapter 01
Getting to program
A program only works if a person can get to it. ProjectFREE provides transportation to and from its programs, so getting to the day on 51st Street South in Gulfport is not a separate problem for a family to solve alone.
That matters for the weekday running order. Academics at 9:00, art at 10:00, lunch at 12:00 and music at 12:30 only happen for a member who arrives, and the service covers rides to and from the program.

Getting to the events where members perform and sell
ProjectFREE does not stay inside its own building. Members of Free2Rock Academy perform at area events, and the house band, Solar Flair, plays outdoors. Student art projects are for sale, and artists keep 100% of their sales. Transportation is how those moments get off the page and onto a stage or a table.
Events are where the public meets the people behind the work, and a ride there is what makes it possible for a member to be there to meet them.
Chapter 03
How to arrange a ride
ProjectFREE does not publish routes or pickup times online, so the way to ask about a ride is to call (727) 603-0595 and talk to the team. They can tell you what is possible for you and for the program you are interested in.
ProjectFREE does not publish fees. Its Life Skills programs sit within Florida APD services, so call to talk about funding when you ask about a place. While you are deciding, read about Adult Day Training and the Supported Living Coach to see how a full week fits together.
ProjectFREE provides transportation to and from programs and to events, from 2026 51st Street South in Gulfport.
